At LUMED Hospital, we provide patient accommodations designed to ensure comfort, convenience, and a positive healing experience. From standard rooms to fully-furnished suites, all accommodations are equipped with modern facilities and amenities to meet diverse patient needs. Many of our services are modeled on best practices in hospitality, offering features such as selective meal options, cable television, and personalized assistance.

We believe that a comfortable environment and thoughtful services contribute significantly to the health and recovery of our patients. Our range of rooms is designed to meet varying requirements, making LUMED a preferred choice for hospital stays in the region.

Room Queuing Procedures

The Admission Department manages all room queuing requests, which may be submitted via email, phone call, pre-admission registration, or personal submission of the Doctor’s Order by the patient, relatives, or attending physician.

The actual date and time of patient admission will be indicated on the Doctor’s Order form.

The Room Queuing Form (RQF) must be completed and attached by the Admission Associate to the Doctor’s Order form. This RQF serves as the basis for room assignment.

Patients with room/bed queuing are prioritized based on the date and time the request was received by the Admission Associate. The Room Monitoring Coordinator (RMC) will assign rooms according to patient preference, while also considering the patient’s case or illness.

Priority is given to:

• Patients with emergency cases
   
• Patients scheduled for surgical procedures, including Cathlab and open-heart surgery
   
• Patients requiring Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Coronary Care Unit (CCU), or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
   

For non-emergency patients, we recommend seeking admission between 12:00 NN and 5:00 PM, when more rooms are available as patients are discharged.

If a preferred room is unavailable, alternative accommodations will be offered. Patients will be transferred to their room of choice as soon as it becomes available.

Important: The assigned room is held for a maximum of two (2) hours beyond the patient’s scheduled time of arrival. If the patient fails to arrive within this period, the queued room/bed will be reassigned. The Admission Department will notify the patient, and a new queuing request will need to be submitted if the patient wishes to be admitted later.
